Apps, tools and tips on how to find time for your personal goals
To wrap up our New Year, New Habits? series I chatted with Elena Carlotta (Charlie) Manavis, Business Developer, Coach & Entrepreneur on how she gained an extra 40 minutes a day and two additional holidays last year!
Last year, Charlie or as I call her, Elena, committed to finding more time for herself and her personal goals. I asked how she did it. How she managed to give up going directly for her phone in the morning finally break that pesky habit. Instead, she used a "personal mantra" or reminder.
The great points I picked up from this great conversation:
1. make your mantra personal and meaningful
2. remind yourself of this mantra when you want to fall into your old habits ( I would add, print it and post it where you look most often)
3. to find more time, track your time (you can read about thishere)
4. Ask yourself, "are you worth this extra time?" the answer is yes!!!!
Apps and tools we talked about:
Wunderlist (I use)
The Balance Wheel
The Eisenhower Matrix
Zapier- you won't be able to live without this one.
Slack for team communication
Trello for project management
Charlie is a huge fan of Evernote and I use Simplenote
Thank you again, Charlie!
